About this event
On November 11, 2026, Route 66 turns 100, and Tulsa, the self-styled Capital of Route 66, is throwing the party. The day opens with a Veterans Day breakfast and the Tulsa Veterans Day Parade at 11 am, then moves into a free Centennial Crawl across eight downtown museums, galleries and gathering spots. Mid-afternoon, a street party fills Main Street between OKPOP and Cain’s Ballroom with brass band music, circus acts and a 5 pm birthday moment.
The evening brings a free Bob Wills’ Texas Playboys concert on the Guthrie Green; bring a blanket. Nearly everything is free; a $66 VIP party runs at OKPOP, and the Wilderado show at Cain’s is sold out. Parking and street closure details are still to come, so plan to arrive early and walk between stops.
