About this event
“Pianos etc…” is a program that explores the keyboard in its various physical manifestations. Piano, harpsichord, toy piano, and keyboard synthesizer – composers have realized their musical imaginations in myriad ways on the keyboard instrument. In this program, composer/pianist David Broome investigates how composers exploit the inherent musical qualities of each of those instruments to their own creative satisfaction.
