  • Chat-A Cat Cafe hosted its first New Year's Eve party yesterday in Broken Arrow with games, contests, food, and a special cat ball drop. Owner Lorrie Bradway said she plans to expand the celebration next year & include overnight activities & more events.  FOX23

CULTURE NEWS

  • Broken Arrow’s Sunset Amphitheater now will cost over $100 million with wind walls for climate control and protection. Targeting a summer 2026 opening, officials expect it to host 45+ events annually and create over 600 jobs (adding significant economic benefits).  KJRH

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Opponents of the new mosque plan are holding a strategy meeting on Jan. 6 at 6:00 p.m. at the Property Event Center near Olive and the Creek Turnpike before the City Council votes on zoning changes, and Oklahoma State Senator Christi Gillespie will speak at the event.  KRMG News
