- ➤ The city said voters must approve Proposition 8, which will add a 0.5 percent temporary sales tax lasting five years to fund improvements at four sports complexes (Arrowhead, Indian Springs, Nienhuis Park and Challenger). Design will begin summer 2026, with upgrades ready for use in about three years. FOX23
