➤ Broken Arrow held a ribbon-cutting at Nienhuis Park today for a $1.58 million artificial turf upgrade on two football fields — funded by the 2018 GO Bond to promote safer play and more reliable scheduling for youth sports. KRMG News

➤ Saks Global announced the closure of its Tulsa’s Utica Square store along with seven other locations — including stores in Birmingham, Columbus and Philadelphia — with closures planned by the end of April. The company said the smaller, unprofitable units will not be replaced. KJRH
