Food On The Move packed nearly 600 food bags for students at Monroe Demonstration Academy on Mar.

12 to ensure they had nutritious meals during Spring Break.

The Oklahoma House passed a bill that will increase physical education to 150 minutes weekly for elementary students and 45 minutes for middle and high students.

The measure now heads to the Oklahoma Senate for consideration.

Vanguard Academy hosted its annual STEM night yesterday (March 12) where high school and Rhodes Elementary students showcased projects addressing issues like homelessness and Alzheimer’s awareness, and prepared ideas for pitches at Discovery Lab in Tulsa.

Rogers High School has launched a food program that gives students four frozen meals each week during spring break to help with home food needs.

The new effort is made possible through a partnership with the Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma.
