  • A Tulsa teenager named Jose Eduardo Cardona Perez was found guilty of first degree murder in the fatal shooting of 23 year old Jorge Santos behind a KFC on South Garnett Road in Broken Arrow, and his sentencing is set for May 27.  KRMG News

EDUCATION NEWS

  • NSU-Broken Arrow is offering two free weeklong STEM camps for Oklahoma students in grades 8–10 this summer. The 'Get Green for Blue: Outdoor STEM Investigations Connecting Water to You' camp runs June 2nd through 6th and the 'Camp Biomed: A Glowing Overview' session runs June 23rd through 27th, each day from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., with lunch and snacks provided—registration is required through the university website.  News On 6
