- ➤ Broken Arrow firefighters from Rescue 1 B—Shift rescued 8 ducklings trapped in a storm drain near Albany St. and Elm Pl after residents called for help when the ducklings' parents appeared upset; they checked for dangerous gases before climbing down to bring the ducklings to the surface and reunite them with their family. - ➤ Local nonprofits need more volunteers to help residents recovering from recent storms — project managers are training helpers and the Oklahoma Red Cross offers an online assessment for interested volunteers. News On 6

- ➤ Parker Wagnon, a Broken Arrow high school graduate, designed a specialty license plate to help fund Broken Arrow Public Schools with its black background and gold logo. - ➤ INCOG is hosting open houses for its updated regional bike and pedestrian plan in Sapulpa, Sand Springs, Broken Arrow + Tulsa to gather public feedback. Residents in Broken Arrow can share their ideas Wednesday, April 23 at the Public Safety Center while input from other cities will help guide improvements to safety, trail connections and access barriers + shape the final plan.
