- ➤ A Broken Arrow resident filed a civil lawsuit on Monday, April 28th against the city and police department, alleging that officers used excessive force that violated his constitutional rights. The suit details two incidents—one on July 28th, 2023 after a neighbor dispute and another on May 29th, 2024 when officers entered his home without a warrant—and seeks $1 million in damages. - ➤ The Oklahoma State Election Board said that registered voters who did not vote or update their registration in 2022 and 2024 will soon get address confirmation notices in the mail and must reply within 60 days to avoid being marked inactive and removed after the 2028 General Election.
