- ➤ A traveling photography exhibit called Faces of the Mother Road displays early portraits of Route 66 travelers from a small Afton studio (from the early 1900s). Curator Adam Forgash seeks help from locals to identify many unknown faces as the exhibit looks for new venues. News On 6
- ➤ The Cherokee Nation celebrated Woody Hair Day on Tuesday in Kenwood, honoring a first-language Cherokee speaker who helped preserve the Cherokee language—an event that recognized cultural contributions to local heritage. FOX23
- ➤ A new production, Flyover, will film a rodeo scene in Broken Arrow on Monday, May 4 from 1:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and seeks volunteer background actors aged 18 and older. FOX23
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ State lawmakers passed a bill to permanently ban cell phone use for students during school hours and are sending it to Gov. Stitt for final approval — school boards must allow phones only for emergencies. Supporters say the rule will help teachers focus on teaching. News On 6

- ➤ ODOT announced a two to three week delay on the Highway 75 bridge rehab near Jenks after discovering extra steel deterioration during deck removal + commuters have experienced up to 10-minute delays as work continues with new materials ordered to finish the project late this year. KTUL
