Good morning, Broken Arrow. Here's your local news at a glance for Wednesday, the 14th of May.

COMMUNITY NEWS

  • A lawsuit by John Kelly alleges the L.A. Zoo misled the public about moving Asian elephants Billy and Tina to Tulsa Zoo’s Mary K. and John T. Oxley Family Elephant Experience later this year + claiming the exhibit, offering 11 acres for seven elephants, provides insufficient space and contributes to their physical and mental harm. The suit argues that the zoo’s misleading claims mask the harsh conditions that the elephants continue to face at the L.A. Zoo.  KRMG News
  • Rooster Days returns May 15–18 to Central Park on Main with carnival rides, food trucks, live entertainment, and a kids zone—entry is free for all visitors. General parking costs $10 to support the local band program, and carnival ride pricing changes daily with tickets at $1 and wristbands available on Saturday.  News On 6
