On May 14th, Broken Arrow Fire Department responded to a major natural gas line break on 23rd Street — closing the road from Granger Street north to Omaha Street and prompting extra caution from drivers.

The Wagoner County Sheriff’s Office signed a cross-commission agreement with the Muscogee Creek Nation Lighthorse Police that allows officers to handle both tribal and non-tribal criminal cases in Wagoner County—improving public safety.

The agreement was signed on May 14 after discussions to strengthen cooperation between the two agencies.
