  • Mason Teague (who survived a brain bleed four years ago) graduated as his family celebrated his achievement in Broken Arrow with a video capturing the uplifting moment.  FOX23

CULTURE NEWS

  • Kids in a local free after-school arts program built an art car to show mental health struggles with flames that mix hurtful words and affirmations (Hombre) donated by the president of First National Bank. The car will appear at the 95th Roosters Day Parade this weekend in Broken Arrow.  KJRH

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • At Oaklawn Cemetery, a new headstone was placed to honor Deputy Charles Stamper, who died in 1910 responding to a miner shoot-out; the memorial service also recognized a dozen other fallen deputies following years of detailed research on his sacrifice.  News On 6
  • Oklahoma has a new law that requires first responders to notify police after treating suspected overdoses and gives them legal immunity when reporting in good faith. The law takes effect Nov. 1 to help track fentanyl risks in our communities.  KTUL
