Good morning, Broken Arrow.

Blake Shelton, an Oklahoma country star, has returned with a new album called For Recreational Use Only and a lead single called Texas that topped the charts in the U.K.—He took a four-year break to focus on fishing and farming and is now filming a new CBS singing show while teaming up with his wife and Post Malone.

Students from Broken Arrow and other Green Country cities earned top honors at the Oklahoma National History Day contest on May 16th — projects covered topics such as civil rights and environmental justice — and winners will now compete in nationals in June at the University of Maryland. A Broken Arrow student from Childers Middle School earned second place in the Junior Individual Exhibit category.
