Good morning, Broken Arrow.

Broken Arrow was ranked 12th nationwide on U.S. News—World Report’s list of best places to live; local leaders noted that a median income of $86,442, an unemployment rate of 2.95, and an average commute time of 19.81 minutes helped earn the recognition.

The company’s website and the city's Facebook page confirmed the new location.

Broken Arrow Police arrested five people — one adult and four teenagers — on May 17 after responding to a car burglary near 800 South 75th Street where a suspect fired at a fleeing victim who was not injured, and officers later found a loaded 9mm handgun, shell casings, stolen property, and open containers of alcohol in the car.

The Oklahoma House passed House Bill 2781 that establishes the Reindustrialize Oklahoma Act to give rebates for manufacturers who invest at least $2 billion and create 700 jobs while supporting the $4 billion Emirates Global Aluminum production plant set for the Tulsa Port of Inola. The act will provide performance-based rebates through July 1, 2045 — a move that follows last year’s LEAD Committee review of major economic proposals.
