Good morning, Broken Arrow.

The Broken Arrow Fire Department celebrated eight cadets graduating from the local academy on Wednesday, and officials warn that a flood watch remains in effect through Friday morning as heavy rains continue.

Residents are advised to monitor conditions closely.

Heavy rain has left roads flooded and standing water across Green Country, including in Tulsa County, and emergency crews advise drivers to slow down and avoid water-covered roads for safety.

More rain is forecast, so residents should plan for potential delays.

A Special Purpose hosted a free equine therapy camp in Broken Arrow for children & adults with disabilities that swiftly filled all 40 spots.

The program met local demand for accessible therapy and its success sets the stage for future camps and a permanent resource center.

Federal regulators issued warning letters to eight Oklahoma hospitals in June for not posting complete price lists, and both Ascension St. John Broken Arrow and Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa have since corrected minor technical issues (as required by CMS).
