  • Broken Arrow is hosting its annual Block Party on June 27 and 28 at New Orleans Square. CRIME NEWS

  • Authorities are asking for help to locate 13-year-old Kazyiah—who has been missing from Broken Arrow for eight days—and the teen was last seen near East Albany and 23rd Street wearing a red and white shirt, green cargo pants with an orange stripe, and black slides.  KTUL

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Broken Arrow City Council approved its fiscal year 2026 budget with a 4.5% increase in public safety funding to over $153 million—while keeping current police staffing numbers and planning to add two school resource officers in public schools. The plan leaves room to hire more officers in coming years as retirements begin.  KJRH

REAL ESTATE NEWS

  • Today, the Gatesway Foundation announced that it will build the Villages at Rose Hill on 41.2 acres in Broken Arrow; the $48.5 million project will add 180 affordable homes for the public and people with disabilities. It will reserve between 20—50% of the homes for those with disabilities, received $10 million from the state and about $22 million in tax credits, and construction will start in January 2026 and last three years.  KTUL
