The Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma said new cuts to SNAP and Medicaid in the Big Beautiful Bill could lead to over 9 billion fewer meals and increased hunger in the area.

The bank warned that local grocers and partner agencies in 24 counties may face a ripple effect from these cuts—Oklahomans will need to work together to support vulnerable neighbors.
