Good morning, Broken Arrow.

The annual Folds of Honor FreedomFest offers two distinct areas for celebrating the holiday and fireworks.

River West Festival Park hosts a variety of activities starting at 6 p.m. while the Zink Lake Watch Zone provides a relaxed setting with room for picnic blankets and games.

Area school leaders are adjusting schedules to meet a state law that requires 40 minutes of daily recess for elementary students as classes will begin in 4-6 weeks - officials are reallocating resources to ensure safe playground time.
