  • Ten years ago, the Bever brothers killed their parents and siblings in a planned attack in Broken Arrow—Detective Eric Bentz explained that abuse was ruled out and one brother appeared heartless, leaving authorities still puzzled about the motive.  Tulsa World

  • Tuesday evening, Drum Corps International performed at Broken Arrow Memorial Stadium where eight groups from seven states displayed their summer-long practice, and local Zephyrus made history as the first Oklahoma drum corps to compete in the open class in over 30 years — the bands then headed to the next competition in Texas.  FOX23
  • A comedy horror movie called Horrified is filming at the Stoney Creek Hotel in Broken Arrow under the Visit Broken Arrow film incentive program; principal photography began on July 14 and will wrap on August 8. The film stars Julie Benz and Ron Perlman—who plays her estranged father—and is set to support 75 local jobs while spending $405,000 at local businesses.  KRMG News
