  • Two free self defense classes will take place in Broken Arrow this week. A women's seminar runs at Embody Fitness BA on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. while a public class hosted by the police department is scheduled at Bethany Church Gym on September 4 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  FOX23

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • State Superintendent Ryan Walters posted a video on social media assuring parents that public schools are safe—he took credit for releasing school safety funds that he was forced to disburse by Attorney General Gentner Drummond last year.  FOX23
  • City leaders in Broken Arrow will hold a public forum Tuesday so that residents can give input on street projects and the upcoming 2026 bond. The forum runs from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Battle Creek Golf Course and will help shape future transportation improvements.  News On 6
