ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Today, the City of Broken Arrow is inviting residents to complete a survey on public sports facilities to help guide future improvements. A flood watch is in effect from late tonight through Wednesday morning as heavy rain may cause low-lying areas to flood.  FOX23

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Advocates and lawmakers gathered outside Tulsa County courthouse to press for cameras in courtrooms because they believe recording proceedings will add transparency—supporters shared firsthand accounts of alleged injustice and stressed that such measures would hold officials accountable.  KJRH
  • Representatives Gabe Woolley and Molly Jenkins praised OSU fraternities Sigma Nu and Pi Kappa Alpha for their public call to prayer for the nation and Charlie Kirk’s family — they will present citations of commendation for their leadership in the coming weeks.  KTUL

SPORTS NEWS

  • Five high school football district openers are scheduled for Friday at 7 p.m., with Broken Arrow set to host Owasso as both teams look to build on past records; the matchups also include Bixby vs Jenks, Collinsville vs Del City, Fort Gibson vs Wagoner, and Kingston vs Kiefer — each featuring key players and tight contests that will shape the season.  Tulsa World
