- ➤ A local man lived his dream by working with musical instruments—he developed new skills with help from a local nonprofit that supports people with intellectual disabilities in finding work. FOX23
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Signature Symphony has opened submissions for its 7th annual Tulsa Sings! competition—vocalists from the Tulsa area can compete for a chance to perform with a professional orchestra and receive coaching from New York City performer Scott Coulter. Submissions will be accepted until Oct. 13 at 10 p.m. and finalists will be announced on Dec. 12 during the Christmas in Tulsa concert with the final performance set for April 25. FOX23
- ➤ The Signature Symphony is accepting video auditions for its 7th annual Tulsa Sings vocal competition which gives Tulsa-area residents a chance to perform with a full orchestra and get coaching from New York City vocalist Scott Coulter. Contestants must send in their entries by Oct. 13 and finalists will perform in Tulsa Sings! America @250 on April 25. KRMG News
