  • Families attended a free all-day event called Sunday Funday hosted by Paloma’s Plants and Apple Barrel in Broken Arrow—food trucks, face painting, giveaways and more than 30 local vendors offered fun for both people and pets. Attendees said the event brought the community together and even out-of-town visitors joined the celebrations.  FOX23

  • Mason Young, a Tulsa World AP Top 25 voter, broke down his college football ballot after Week 5 by ranking Oregon highest and placing Ole Miss above Oklahoma—he said upcoming games like OU’s contest with Kent State and Ole Miss’s matchup with Washington State will settle the rankings further.  Tulsa World
