- ➤ The 12th annual Zumbathon returns in Broken Arrow on Oct. 4 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Rhema Bible College Recreation Center—raising funds and awareness for breast cancer and celebrating survivors with dance and music. Hosts Tara Grna and Alex Campbell will lead the event in partnership with Making Strides Against Breast Cancer and Project 31 to honor those affected by the disease. News On 6
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Broken Arrow City Council is asking for public feedback on a proposed eighth proposition of the 2026 General Obligation Bond that would fund sports facility improvements at Indian Springs Sports Complex. The proposal would use a temporary half-cent sales tax from visitors to help secure a $52 million upgrade—voters will decide in April if the measure moves forward. FOX23
- ➤ On Monday, the Tulsa County Board of Commissioners approved Project Clydesdale—an initiative to build a new data center on county land near Owasso. The project includes four tax incentive districts with specific deadlines and a 25-year property tax exemption while the developer pays $1.5 million per year. KRMG News
