- ➤ A flood watch is in effect today for parts of east central, northeast, and southeast Oklahoma—including areas near Broken Arrow—and residents should be ready as heavy rains continue tonight with totals expected between 2 and 3 inches and locally up to 4 or 5 inches that could trigger flash flooding. HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Saint Francis Hospital has begun using a contrast enhanced mammography machine for better breast cancer diagnosis during Breast Cancer Awareness Month—this new tool uses a small dye injection to highlight abnormal blood flow and has been used to scan about 60 women so far. Dr. Kelly Hastings said the machine offers a faster, more accessible option for patients who cannot have an MRI. FOX23
