- ➤ Over 600,000 people who rely on SNAP benefits in Oklahoma will see their benefits suspended today — a result of the ongoing federal government shutdown. Governor Stitt said the state will not use its Rainy Day Fund — and is reviewing other programs to assist struggling families. KRMG News
- ➤ Governor Kevin Stitt and lawmakers have announced a plan to vote on making $1 million per week available to food banks across all 77 counties—pending approval after Monday's Contingency Review Board meeting—to support vulnerable older adults, disabled persons, and children if federal SNAP funding is not restored.
