BUSINESS NEWS

  • TulsaGo announced its third annual Shop Small Tulsa campaign (involving over 100 local stores from Tulsa, Broken Arrow, Jenks and Bixby). Shoppers will have a chance to win prizes when they support local businesses on November 29.  KRMG News

EDUCATION NEWS

  • The Northeastern State University Broken Arrow campus will offer freshman and sophomore courses in spring 2026, letting students complete a full four-year degree locally. Enrollment opens January 12 after Senate Bill 701 allowed the campus to add more than 20 lower-division classes—expanding higher education options.  FOX23
  • Students at Caney Valley High School have turned their classroom into a food pantry for 14 years to pack meal baskets for local families in need during Thanksgiving break. Donations come from students, families, community members, and local businesses — and the school’s FFA will host a Thanksgiving dinner, food drive, and bingo night on November 20 with RSVPs due by November 10.  News On 6

  • State leaders approved $7M on Monday to boost food banks and non-profits serving food-insecure residents—funds will be released in $1M weekly installments and will stop if federal benefits resume.  KJRH
