If you're catching up on Tuesday's election, start with turnout. Early voting in Tulsa County beat the last presidential election, Communications Director Ronni Pierce said: over 26,000 people voted early this time, against the 25,954 Pierce cited for 2024 and a little over 16,000 in the 2022 midterm.

Election Day took a crowd, too. Election Board Secretary Gwen Freeman said staff grows from 21 to more than 100 inside the building. MetroLink Tulsa offered free fares to the polls all day, and U.S. Department of Justice monitors were expected at some polling places in Oklahoma, Tulsa and Muskogee counties.

  • Poll hours Tuesday: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Results: posted on the State Election Board website
  • Provisional ballots: reviewed by the Election Board

I just have to say, to all the people leaving candy out for the kids to be honest and only take 1-2 pieces, Really?

“this has been happening ever since I was a kid. If you're going to leave a full bowl of candy out its going to happen. No one to blame but yourself.”
