Good morning, Broken Arrow.

Hundreds of dads and caregivers gathered at Northeastern State University’s Broken Arrow campus for the 2025 Oklahoma Fatherhood Summit where national speakers like Dr. George James and Thomas Pfanner led workshops on effective parenting, youth success, and family strengthening.

The day-long event also featured a resource fair linking families to local support — organizers said the theme 'Be You. Be Different. Be Dad.' celebrated every father’s value.

Today at 2 p.m. the Oklahoma Military History Center in Broken Arrow will host a Salute to Veterans concert and program honoring military heroes — and the Tulsa Veterans Day parade is set to begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday.

Broken Arrow Public Schools is launching a new artificial intelligence class where about 200 students have enrolled at the high school campus and the Virtual Academy—despite the course not being listed in the catalog.

High school football playoff pairings have been released and local teams will compete in state playoff games in the coming weeks.

Coaches say the matchups will determine each team's path forward in the tournament.
