  • Yesterday, the Broken Arrow Chamber hosted its annual State of the City luncheon where local leaders reviewed community progress and discussed plans to enhance public services.  FOX23

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • City Manager Michael Spurgeon presented a feasibility study for a new regional airport at a recent speech on December 8 and said the City Council will consider funding the consultant study this fall (a move to attract business) while an east-side amphitheater is set to open in October 2026.  News On 6

HEALTH NEWS

  • Local health officials are urging residents to donate blood this holiday season to help save lives (each donation can make a difference). The drive will be held at local donation centers.  KRMG News

SPORTS NEWS

  • TU men's basketball broke a nearly 25-year-old scoring record on Wednesday at Reynolds Center with a 117-84 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff, boosting its record to 9-1 as one player scored 20 points (a milestone for the team).  Tulsa World
